History

Trucare Community is a non profit organization 501 (c) (6) set up to help and promote our assisted living communities. Trucare Community helps through training services, Human Resources, continuing education, and accounting services for the assisted living communities in our group. Our assisted living communities house and help adults with mental illness as well as the elderly population in our community.

We also partner with other non profits such as Trucare Foundation for Mental Health Recovery 501 (c) (3). For more information about the Trucare Foundation for Mental Health Recovery please see our link: www.elijahlevy.com

Admission Criteria

We provide long-term stay for:

• Adults between 18 to 59 years old
• Adults with a psychiatric diagnosis
• Adults free from medical conditions requiring treatment in an acute setting
• Elderly adults ages 60 and older
• Elderly adults free from medical conditions requiring treatment in an acute setting
• Elderly adults either paying for their care privately, with long term care insurance, or through Medi-Cal based programs (such as ALW or CalAIM)
